How I became involved in cycling:
I became involved in cycling through my dad. A few years ago he bought a road bike and I was jealous that I didn’t have one. After a while of persuasion, I eventually got a road bike and it just went from there.

When did I start cycling?
I started cycling in about 2004. This is when I had my first competitive road season. I started out doing triathlon but I soon came to realise that just cycling is what I enjoyed.

Other interests:
My main interests are anything sporty, friends, food, and music. I play the bass guitar and drums. Other sports apart from cycling that I enjoy are volleyball and soccer.

Favourite Training Ride:
My favourite training ride would probably be a loop that covers Forde Rd to Cleveland and back home. I like this ride because of the hills and it’s a challenging course and doing these rides I know that they will make me stronger.

2008 Goals:
My main goal for 2008 is to get a medal at the state titles. Other important goals for 2008 are to do well at the Kowalski tour & the Nationals in Canberra.

How this season is going:
I am very happy with how this road season is going. I’ve put in some hard work and results have come from this. I’m feeling pretty strong on the bike and am really looking forward to Kowalski tour, State championships and National titles.
